PNG in Windows IE

PNG in Windows IE

OK, one more bit of IE bashing and then I'm off to bed.

Why on Earthy can't IE support transparent PNGs? There are basically three popular formats of images on the web: gif, jpeg and pngs. Three! The PNG spec is dated November 2003. Given little facts like these, why the heck can't the most popular browser on the web, which is built by one of the richest companies on the web, manage to support this file format completely? Why?

Whew. I feel feel better.

Have no fear - the Internet saves the day again. If you need to render transparent PNGs in IE, this site will walk you through everything you need to do to get things working.

I've said it before, but I'll say it again - Gosh I love the internet.
