I let my tank run complet...I had a similar problem. I let my tank run completely empty. Then I installed a full tank, turned on the valve on the tank, and...no gas flowed or ignited. I went to the store and swapped my full-but-not-working tank for another tank. Same symptoms. I found the weber.com webpage about "bypass", tried the "soap test", no leaks. So I called Weber at 1-800-446-1071, explained the steps I had taken. Customer Service agent decided the hose/regulator/bypass failed.
