Though, I'm not sure I'm ready to go that far with my cell phone which I'd prefer to keep functional :-).

Lots to think about...

-BenBen Simonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09833753747177544979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12753102.post-84202176124928207302009-03-06T14:28:00.000-05:002009-03-06T14:28:00.000-05:00Hi,nice Article. I often use VolksForth (http://volksforth.sf.net) on an old Atari Portfolio as a portable Forth Environment. I have also used VolksForth on Frodo (C=64 Emulator) on an Symbian Phone in the past. Forth works best on bare hardware, running Forth on top of the JVM is not an easy task (despite some similarities between a Forth VM and the JVM). Is there QEmu for the G1? Or use JPC (PC Emulator written in Java).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12753102.post-21833361007821576432009-03-06T13:26:00.000-05:002009-03-06T13:26:00.000-05:00Maybe Misty Beach Forth would work on the phone?ht...Maybe Misty Beach Forth would work on the phone?

http://www.mistybeach.com/products/Forth/

--JoshAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12753102.post-73558765055423843522009-03-06T10:25:00.000-05:002009-03-06T10:25:00.000-05:00I think that if you jailbreak your G1, you can run...I think that if you jailbreak your G1, you can run PFE, gForth, bigForth, etc., on it. Won't help with calling into Java though.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
