Today we celebrated with our cousin Gus, as he turned the big 1. He was in great spirits, and caught on to the birthday traditions in a hurry. As is typical, he liked opening up his presents, but was more interested in the wrapping paper and ribbon than the gift inside.
As you can see below, he was initially a little hesitant about this whole cup-cake thing. But as the photo shows, he figured it out in the end, and ate it like a champ. I just love the frosting dripping from his mouth.
Way to go Gus!
