I don't know who this guy is, but I'm pretty sure he's absolutely right: Your (and my) lawn is evil. He explains why in this clip:
He even suggestions a service like the one I blogged about a while ago where you'd pay to have your lawn farmed, not mowed.
A quick search of my local craigslist seems to imply that while there are some folks who might help me with a garden, no one is yet offering the kind of full service micro-farming thingy the blog post suggests.
Why not? Seriously, if I had anything remotely close to a green thumb and a desire to get into a new job (or was unemployed), I'd be all over this.
Seriously, someone needs to just do this. Lawns are evil.
