In a Frank Mood

To pass the time today with my father-in-law we listened to a Frank Sinatra CD. I know I've heard his music plenty of times in the past, but I've never had an affinity to it.

Well, after a more thorough listening, I got to say, I'm impressed. That man can sing. Ok, that isn't new information. But for me, I would now try listening to some of his music on my own, whereas before I would avoid it.

It was interesting hearing stories about my father-in-law as a kid describing the scene at a Sinatra show. It sounded very Beatles-esque, with pushing, shoving, etc.

Anyway, I'm gaining an appreciation for a new kind of music. Which is always a good thing.
