Beamer's New Baby

Look at this proud father - holding his new 3G, Samsung Blackjack phone. Beamer even installed Google maps on it, so he was finally able to make it to work on time.

So, nu, when is he going to start a mobile blog? A Twitter stream?

This is quite an upgrade for Beamer - from an ancient Nokia 3120 candy bar style phone, with a whopping 4 lines of primitive text, to the top of the line.

Welcome to 2007 Beamer, glad to have you.

  1. another windows mobile phone.... my vote is still for the Treo with PalmOS or the Blackberry, your Sidekick is running a strong third and if Palm doesn't release something new soon, I might have to re-order my preferences.... something about a phone/pda os that was initially designed as one, not windows modified.

  2. I considered the blackjack when looking at new phones early this year. In the end, I went with the Cingular 8525 (HTC Hermes), because it does wifi as well as the 3g stuff. Still, the blackjack sounds like a great phone, so my congratulations to Beamer on the new little one!
